Experience was great until the end. Went in knowing the price for regular vision checkup and contact lense. A bit pricier than most place. But it’s fine, the place is clean, well kept, organized and dr. is great as well. I was given samples of contacts to try out and next thing I knew the price increases for contact lense consultation. Well, you gave me price for both already. You’re charging me double for having samples? I told the billing lady and she continue to say it’s for contact lense consultation. So looking back, I shouldn’t have paid and stood by the quote they gave me when I made the appointment.

Dr Sasaki was recommended to me by my PCP. I developed a web-like floater & knew this cound be a retinal issue. Dr. Sasaki saw me the same day I called. She did a thorough exam & referred me to a retinologist. The retinology appointment was made before I left the office to ensure I would be seen ASAP that week. Despite the office being in transition to a electronic medical record system, the wait time was short & the staff was very professional & friendly.

Dr Sasaki performed cataract lens replacement and two glaucoma prevention procedures for my right eye. She treated my left eye for shingles virus, breaking me in the next day when the problem occurred. I am continuing treatment with eye drops to lower eye pressure. I had Dr. Dri as Dr. Sasaki was out of the office for 2 weeks. I was satisfied with my appointment. I have a question concerning what type of cataracts I have?
1) nuclear cataract - center of the eye. 2) cortical cataract - wedge-shaped cataract
developes at the edge of the lens instead of the center. 3) a posterior capsular
cataract generally forms at the back of the lens, blocking light rays from reaching
the retina. I would appreciate an answer.
