i have a sister who is developmental disable. shortly after relocating her to CA. to live with me in 2015 I noticed she was having problems with her right eye, i became very alarmed because this is her only seeing eye. we were referred to the Eye Treatment center by her primary Dr. Wanyaki, were immediately Dr. Sasaki detected the problem. A procedure was scheduled at St Mary hospital and Dr. Sasaki put a lens in her eye. her eyesight has never been better. My sister's first trip back to Texas after her procedure was a bit humorous, on the plane she grabbed a man's tie to remove what she thought was a lint ball only find out it was the design in his tie, that's how well she could see. Dr. Sasaki is so reassuring, patient and kind. Dr Sasaki is personable and never rushed during our appts. She understands my sister and speaks to her as if she does not have a disability. Dr. Sasaki is a great listener and makes sure I understand all the medications needed and how to apply and when to apply. The Eye treatment center is our Eye care home. Yevette and the other staff is unbelievable. Thank you Dr. Sasaki and your team. You were and still is a God send for my family.

After examining my eyes, he decided on a prescription. He then made up a "practice" set of glasses for me to try. I did, and I told him they were totally wrong. He INSISTED that they were right. I had the prescription filled, and of course when I got the new glasses they were useless. I had a different Doctor examine me and indeed the first prescription was completely wrong.

I was in on the last visit to be examined for new glasses. I wanted to make sure my subscription hadn't changed before ordering a new pair. The office staff and assistants are always friendly and helpful. I've been with Dr Sasaki for many years now and she is always friendly and professional at the same time. After doing all the measurements for new glasses she gave me an updated prescription for a new pair. There is no pressure to buy the glasses from her office, they let you make the choice where you want to get them. But let me tell you this, it isn't uncommon to find specials going on for 2 pairs of frames, like regular glasses and readers. I don't think you will find a better doctor and office for your needs when it comes to your eyes. Give them a try, you won't be sorry I promise you that!

Experience was great until the end. Went in knowing the price for regular vision checkup and contact lense. A bit pricier than most place. But it’s fine, the place is clean, well kept, organized and dr. is great as well. I was given samples of contacts to try out and next thing I knew the price increases for contact lense consultation. Well, you gave me price for both already. You’re charging me double for having samples? I told the billing lady and she continue to say it’s for contact lense consultation. So looking back, I shouldn’t have paid and stood by the quote they gave me when I made the appointment.

Dr Sasaki was recommended to me by my PCP. I developed a web-like floater & knew this cound be a retinal issue. Dr. Sasaki saw me the same day I called. I had Dr. Dri as Dr. Sasaki was out of the office for 2 weeks. I was satisfied with my appointment. I have a question concerning what type of cataracts I have?
1) nuclear cataract - center of the eye. 2) cortical cataract - wedge-shaped cataract
developes at the edge of the lens instead of the center. 3) a posterior capsular
cataract generally forms at the back of the lens, blocking light rays from reaching
the retina. I would appreciate an answer.

This beautiful eye center is a great office. The staff is very helpful and efficient. They make you feel comfortable and safe during these times when C19 causes concerns. Dr. Sasaki is very skilled and experienced. But also has wonderful bed side manners, and will answer all of your questions. And I ask alot. I am grateful to have been referred here.
